 Ozone Therapy in Periodontology - Research & Reviews




Ozone is a strong oxidant and an effective antimicrobial agent. Ozone therapy has been successfully applied in the treatment of various diseases in medicine and dentistry for many years. Ozonehas  antimicrobial, noninflammatory, metabolic and biosynthesis-enhancing effects. In this review, the use of ozone in periodontology is evaluated along with past studies.
